This article provides you with information on how to update your Joomla extensions.
In most cases updating your Joomla components, modules and plugins is an easy task.
- First, access your Joomla! 3 admin page and go to Extensions > Manage > Update.
- Joomla! will show you a list of all extensions that have a new version.
- For the purpose of this tutorial, we will update the jHackGuard security plugin developed by us to its latest version.
- To do this, place a check next to the plugin name and press the Update button at the top left part of the page.
