Monitoring network traffic on your Dedicated Server

Problem

1-grid only monitors incoming and outgoing traffic going through a port, dedicated to the Dedicated Server via a switch. Detail about network traffic used by specific ports or applications is not monitored. An application is required to monitor traffic on Dedicated servers.

Solution

If you’d like to find out which process on your dedicated server is using the most traffic. We recommend you use NetLimiter.

Another program that we`ve tested is Capsa Network Analyzer. It displays traffic in logs files as well as via a dashboard to assist with troubleshooting high traffic utilisation.
